This page will serve as a listing place for either mugs of unknown origin / company, or where the manufacturer is known but their mug output only consists of a few examples as not to necessitate a separate category. If the maker of an unknown mug that we have listed here is conclusively identified, then we will move it to its own company category (if it exists).

Mugs can sometimes be difficult to ID because they do not have any backstamps or identifying marks. In some cases, it's possible to tell which company made it from the shape of a mug. In other cases, the company that manufactured it may have been one company or another. Besides Fire King and specialty mugs (like shaving mugs, etc.), good identification books on mugs just don't seem to exist. Very often, they occupy merely a chapter or section in a book on a company. (If you've written a good book only on mugs), please let me know.
