We’ll be using photos from Pyrex Love quite frequently in order to save time since we’ve already taken so many pictures of mugs made by Corning.

It’s rather hard to find these commemorative mugs if you don’t live on the east coast near the place of manufacture. In fact, nearly all of the ones in our possession were finds on Ebay as opposed to the thrift. Corning made quite a few of these commemorative 1410 style Diagonal Mugs for their banquets and parties. Very often, the stamp on the bottom will just say “Corning” even thought they are made of Pyrex.

This mug was produced for their 1972 Anniversary Banquet and that is printed in dark blue on one side while the other side just reads “Corning”. For more information, check the post on Pyrex Love.
